BCECE 2012 - Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination held of admission into under graduate medical and engineering degree programs offered through institutes situated in Bihar. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) is conducted by BCECE Board, Bihar. Candidates write BCECE examination for taking admissions into technical and professional programs offered into different colleges / institutes of State of Bihar, India

A candidate after writing BCECE can take admission into undergraduate programs of engineering / medical / pharmacy / agriculture. A bachelor degree is awarded after completion of one such program.

The program (engineering / medical / architecture) which a candidate will study at undergraduate level depends on the choice subjects / papers which a candidate writes in the BCECE examination. The choice of papers in the BCECE exam depends on the subject combination that a candidate has studied at qualifying level.

A certain type of program (engineering / medical / architecture) offers a range of courses. The course which a candidate studies at undergraduate level depends on the merit ranking secured by the candidate in the BCECE entrance examination.

After successful completion of a professional undergraduate program a candidate can choose for higher studies. Alternatively, he / she can choose to serve for a Govt. / Private agency in his / her respective field of study. The candidate, whose business mindsets, can choose to build their own business venture and thus create a range of opportunities for others.

BCECE 2012 Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Age Limit

• For Engineering/ Pharmacy Stream, there is no minimum age limit.
• For Medical Stream, the minimum age must be 17 years as on the specified  date on the prospectus/application.
• For Agriculture Stream, the minimum age must be 17 years as on the specified date on the prospectus/application.

Educational Qualification : Passed in class 12th examination of Bihar Board or any other with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology.
