Veer Kunwar Singh University - VKSU Ara

Veer Kunwar Singh University (VKSU) Ara was established in 1992 under Bihar University Act 1976. The University named after Freedom Fighter Veer Kunwar Singh is situated in Ara District of Bihar State in India. It has jurisdiction over Bhojpur, Buxar, Kaimur & Rohtas. The university caters to the needs of more than 1 crore people of these districts through its 20 University Post Graduate Departments, 17 Constituent Degree Colleges, three Law Colleges and forty seven affiliated Degree Colleges. The University is recognized from University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.
